Currently the biggest iteration in the Nature Line, the Rock Nest – Large can hold anywhere between 1,000 and 10,000 ants depending on size. Its 20 centimeter diameter and 1.5 cm of inside height gives approximately 440 cubic centimeters of living space for a colony to live in. The nest’s large, open chambers are designed to mimic those of natural nests under rocks. The Rock Nest – Large is a great option for housing mature colonies of many ant species. Each order includes a free syringe for watering the nest (needed every 5-10 days generally).
To wash nest, disassemble and hand wash in hot water. Let dry, and reassemble.
