Log Nest – Medium

The Log Nest – Medium is designed for Camponotus species, but it can also house a variety of other genera. The nest’s 1.5 centimeter inside height and wide open chambers are perfect for Camponotus and other large ants to pile pupae, larvae and eggs. In total, the nest provides approximately 144 cubic centimeters of living space. The nest entrances, which fit 1/2 inch inner diameter vinyl tubing, allow for easy connection to an outworld or expansion to another nest. Overall, this nest is a great option for colonies of 100-500 workers in large species. Each order includes a free syringe for watering the nest (needed every 5-10 days generally).

To wash nest, disassemble and hand wash in hot water. Let dry, and reassemble.
